ADD NZ TRUST

A small group of trustees and associated health specialists form the Management Committee for overseeing the development and management of the ADD Assessment and Family Support Centre.

The ADD NZ Trust and ADD Centre is networked into local health, medical, education and social support organisations, with representatives from medical specialists and GPs, Public Nurses and parents/caregivers as part of the Management Committee.

The ADD NZ Trust strongly believes that these neurological disorders are best cared for in the primary health sector, and the Centre envisages a "seamless" transition for the adolescent from paediatric primary health to GP primary health, where a GP has undergone CME approved PG study with certification as an authorising specialist especially for people in their late teens and adults.
